How long does it last?

Tint slowly begins to fade to the original colour after approximately 4 weeks. It is classed as a semi permanent dye but the duration of the effect will depend on what home care products you use.

You have noticed grey hairs in your eyebrows?

Greying hair is a natural part of getting older. Whereas some people choose to let nature take its course, others prefer to conceal it. Although plucking the odd stray hair from the scalp is fine, plucking hairs is likely to produce unsightly bald patches and leave the brow mishapen. For this reason avoid tweasers and opt for an eyebrow tint.

Choosing the right shade?

Its a nightmare scenario and a frequently asked question. No one wants unnatural looking brows and the trick is to choose a shade that perfectly suits your skin type and colour.

What happens during treatment?

Regardless of whether you are having a brow or lash treatment - or in fact both, Jess will go through a detailed consultation to ascertain the above information. She will then explain every step of the treatment along the way.

Why should I tint my brows?

Tint takes to the finest of hair and leaves brows and lashes looking more defined and surprisingly fuller.

• A patch test will be necessary 48 hours before these treatments
• Avoid rubbing the eyes
• Avoid putting your contact lenses back in for the rest of the day
• Although we do make sure every trace of dye is removed, it is possible that residues may remain
• Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment
• Oil base make up remover can cause the tint to fade faster
• Effects will start to diminish within 4-6 weeks as hair grows out
• Eyelash colour will last four to six weeks and eyebrow colour 2 -4 weeks
• Can get the treatment done again after 6 weeks
• No swimming/saunas/sunbeds for 24 hour

*If any stinging or swellings, keep applying a cold dampened cotton pad, cold compress or cooling spray to soothe,  if it persists seek medical advice and let me know so I can put it on your record card.
