Terms and Conditions
Please understand that we cannot allow children to accompany an adult into the treatment room when the adult is receiving a treatment nor may they be left unaccompanied in the waiting area. Children must be accompanied by an adult in reception at all times.
Not all treatments are available to under 16’s and those that are will require a consent form to be completed by a parent or guardian. I also insist under 16’s are accompanied by an adult or guardian.
We only accept cash and card payments on the day or a bank transfer before the day of your treatment.
Jessica’s beauty bar offers a no refund policy, for services provided. In the unlikely event you are not happy with your treatment, please contact us as soon as possible, within 2 days. If the problem is due to a fault with the products or workmanship we will make every effort to rectify the problem, to your satisfaction, free of charge.
A late arrival may unfortunately result in reduced treatment time. Therefore, out of respect for other clients and ourselves please make sure you arrive on time for your treatments. Late arrivals will be charged the full price for their treatment but cannot unfortunately be guaranteed a full treatment time.
Otherwise you will have to wait until being able to be fitted in depending on the time allocation for the treatment or your treatment will be rescheduled to an alternative time.
Should you decide to not have all of the treatments you may have pre booked and you have not informed us at least 24hours prior, I reserve the right to charge you for the time booked. Jessica’s beauty bar reserves the right to charge 50% at the time of booking and this is non refundable of the full treatment price, for missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24 hour’s notice.
Gift vouchers are non - refundable and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
The card is for the specific treatment only; the value is not redeemable for cash or refund. They also cannot be used if misplaced or stolen as we have no proof of authorisation.
Whilst we carry out an in-depth consultation to ensure you gain the most from your appointment, please inform us of any change in your health or medication that is relevant to your treatment.
Please note that it is illegal to smoke anywhere in the salon.
As part of our professional salon service and health and safety requirements some of my treatments may require a patch test, this is for your safety. When having a patch test a minimum of 24 hours prior to treatment is required to check for an allergic reaction. For certain treatments patch testing is carried out prior to each treatment. If you have a reaction your skin would become itchy, red and possibly sore. If this occurs, please wash off with cool water and seek medical advice.
Providing no adverse reactions take place, we will be happy to treat you safely.
Please let us know if you have overly sensitive skin or any specific allergies that may be affected by our treatments or products. We can then arrange a patch test for you to make sure you are being treated safely. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire before your treatment. This is for use by your therapist to ensure your treatment is 100% safe.
We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose any medications or condition that may affect your treatment. Please inform your therapist or technician of any changes in your health on subsequent visits.
If you are unsure of being able to have a particular treatment, please inform us 24 hours prior to your appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse any treatment or service that we decide is not in the best interest of your health or well being.
Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
Refunds and Allergic Reactions
Unfortunately, if you have a reaction to one of the products we would advise you to seek medical advice, however, you will not be able to receive a refund.
Data Protection & Privacy
For certain treatments, clients will be required to answer questions about their health. This information is available to client’s request. Depending on the answers, treatments may be refused or a GP’s authorisation requested.
Rest assured your privacy is very important to Jessica’s Beauty Bar. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information which is collected from you. We promise to abide by the principles of the UK Data Protection legislation.
