Pre-Waxing and Aftercare Guidelines
To achieve the best waxing results, please ensure that your hair has grown to the proper length before your treatment. If you've previously shaved, allow a minimum of 3 weeks’ growth before your appointment. For optimal results, I recommend 4 weeks of growth to ensure that all hairs are long enough for the wax to effectively remove, providing you with longer-lasting hair-free results. This also applies if you've been using hair removal creams. Ideally, the hair should be about the length of a grain of rice.
I understand it can be difficult to let previously shaved hair grow out, but trust me, it’s essential for achieving the best waxing results!
How Long Will the Wax Last?
If you’ve allowed your hair to grow for 4 weeks, you can expect a few weeks of smooth, hair-free skin before any noticeable regrowth appears. Regrowth will be minimal compared to shaving, and you
likely won’t feel the need to wax again for another 2-3 weeks (around week 4). After your first wax, regrowth may appear a little sooner, but with subsequent treatments, your hair will fall into a
natural regrowth cycle, extending the time between treatments.
What Should I Do Before My First Treatment?
To help minimize ingrown hairs and encourage smooth regrowth, start exfoliating the area every 2-3 days prior to your appointment. The main thing to remember is to let the hair
grow—no shaving or trimming before your wax!
I’m Going on Holiday—When Should I Get Waxed?
If you're heading somewhere sunny, I suggest scheduling your wax 24-48 hours before exposing your skin to the sun. For your first wax, please allow a minimum of 48
hours.
What Should I Avoid After Waxing?
For the first 12-24 hours post-treatment, avoid activities that could irritate the skin, such as heat treatments, saunas, hot baths, sunbeds, and intense gym sessions. These can all cause sweating
and discomfort.
Wear loose-fitting clothing after your wax, as tight or synthetic fabrics can irritate your skin. Opt for breathable, natural materials for maximum comfort.
Additionally, avoid using any creams or products on the waxed area unless specifically recommended by me.

Common Reactions:
It’s normal to experience slight soreness, small bumps, or redness after your waxing treatment, especially if it’s your first time. These reactions are temporary and should subside within a few
hours. If needed, you can apply an antiseptic cream to the treated area, but always wash your hands first before applying any product.
